In January of 2024 work began on the European project Inclusive Youth Football, co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Sport programme. The Faculty of Sport Sciences and Physical Education welcomed the consortium of partners who, alongside the faculty, are part of this project: the Madeira Football Association, Uniwersytet Rzeszowski (Poland), and Univerzita Karlova (Czechia).
The session aimed to discuss with the partners the objectives and implementation of the project. The project is coordinated by Dr Hugo Sarmento, with the collaboration of Dr António Figueiredo,
Dr Catarina Amorim, and Dr Diogo Martinho.
